I started my journey into the world of libations behind a bar.  After 14 years of working in the restaurant and bar industry, I decided to change direction a bit and dive head-first into the world of teas.  During my second year of managing a tea house in Chapel Hill, Jeremy (the founder of Sangha) and I crossed paths and shared a mutual love of tea and what the meaning of community meant to us. Our shared passions are what led to me picking up the Sangha torch to continue what Jeremy started. The rest is now history in the making.    Alisa

Tea started as medicine for me but quickly revealed its own culture and world. Starting in 2011 as an apprentice under two phenomenal tea masters in San Diego, California I was trained in traditional Chinese tea ceremony and how to classify and grade tea. I decided to depart on my own personal voyage in 2014, landing me in Anchorage, Alaska. The cold weather was great for sharing the love of tea, but eventually it was time to spread my passion elsewhere. Finally, I have found a home that is growing with no limits, Sangha Teahouse.

Beyond tea, I am exploring all things life has to offer, from rock climbing to language learning. This world is so large and I hope to experience as much as possible within my lifetime.     Morgon
